Generation 4:12

Student Ministry

Come Be A Part of Generation 4:12! What is Generation 4:12? Generation 4:12 meets each Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Youth Barn behind the church and is led by Jamie Holderfield. Each week students experience a combination of worship, a challenging talk, games, and a safe environment for interaction with their peers.

Our Purpose:

1. To lead our students to be the image of God for the people they encounter.

2. To challenge our students to live a life that is holy.

3. To equip our students, through God's word, to transform the world around them.

Here at Memphis we care more about sharing the truth of God's Word than we do about fun and games. Don't get me wrong, we do have fun but we believe our main focus is to help students carry out the Great Commission. If you are interested in growing in your relationship with God, then this is the place for you!

"Stop Asking Jesus into Your Heart"

Many Students struggle with assurance of salvation. Despite God's desire that they be fully assured of their place with Him, students still struggle to know that they belong to Jesus and He belongs to them.

The six-session study based on the book by author and pastor J.D. Greear will help students find assurance that can seem so elusive. They will understand that salvation isn't about just saying a prayer, walking an isle, or holding up their hand. They will understand that salvation rests solely on their response of repentance and faith toward the finished work of Christ.
